Gerhard Liepe

Gerhard Liepe has been employed at the European Academy Berlin since 1994, in the capacity of building supervisor and caretaker.

It is his job to maintain and repair conference equipment and to set out the conference venues (meeting rooms). In addition, he carries out repair and maintenance work in the buildings and in the Academy grounds.

Prior to being employed at the Academy, Gerhard Liepe worked as a building supervisor and technician at a Berlin publishing house. He is a qualified maintenance technician and studied mechanical engineering.
